Suggested route flow
- Cycle from Cochin Airport to Athirappilly: start at Cochin International Airport, settle into a comfortable rhythm, and head towards Chalakudy on smooth, well-connected roads.
- From Chalakudy, the route begins to feel noticeably different as you leave the busier roads behind and ride towards the foothills of the Western Ghats. The surroundings become greener, traffic reduces, and the journey becomes more enjoyable with every kilometre.
- Take a short break at Thumboormuzhy, a popular riverside stop known for its hanging bridge, butterfly garden, and views of the Chalakudy River. It's a great place to stretch your legs before continuing.
- Ride onwards to Charpa Falls, a seasonal roadside waterfall that becomes especially spectacular during and after the monsoon. This section is one of the most scenic parts of the route, with winding roads and increasing forest cover.
- The final stretch leads through the forest approach to Athirappilly Falls, where you'll arrive at Kerala's largest waterfall. Spend time exploring the viewpoint, relaxing by the falls, or enjoying refreshments before ending your ride or taking your return transfer.
